Jean-Philippe Mateta 'furious' with Crystal Palace after January move falls through

Jean-Philippe Mateta is reportedly 'furious' with Crystal Palace after seeing a potential January move to Juventus fall through.

The 28-year-old is said to be pushing to leave Crystal Palace this month with several clubs across England and Europe interested.

Juventus were one of those clubs, and it’s said that the Italian giants even managed to reach an agreement with Mateta over a move.

According to TEAMtalk, the Frenchman is ‘furious’ with Crystal Palace for not being able to reach an agreement with Juventus.

Mateta may still get a move away, however, with Aston Villa the latest club to show interest as Palace demand a 335 million fee.
