Marseille's Roberto De Zerbi breaks silence on Man United links

Marseille manager Roberto De Zerbi has responded to reports linking him with Man United.

The 46-year-old is one of numerous top European coaches linked with becoming the next permanent Man United manager.

Man United decided to part ways with Ruben Amorim after 14 months, and after Darren Fletcher took over for two games, have since named Michael Carrick as their interim boss.

Speaking ahead of Marseille’s Champions League clash with Liverpool, De Zerbi insisted he is concentrating on his job in the South of France.

"My focus is on Marseille,” he said.

“I wanted to come here, I'm here before a very important match and there's nothing else on my mind. I feel good here and I have nothing to say about the future, we'll talk about that later. I feel very good in this city and this club."
