Barcelona 'keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen set for shock Girona loan

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is reportedly set to join Girona on loan for the rest of the season.

The 33-year-old has fallen well down the pecking order under Hansi Flick due to several injury issues and the signing of Joan Garcia.

Ter Stegen has made just one appearance across all competitions so far this season, with little chance of him regaining his number one spot.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the German has given his green light to make the temporary move to fellow Catalan side Girona.
