Evra slams Man City star over lack of Man Utd respect

Patrice Evra has criticized Manchester City star Rayan Cherki for “not respecting” Manchester United following Saturday’s derby at Old Trafford.

In their first game under Michael Carrick, United secured a convincing 2-0 win over City, further derailing their rivals’ Premier League title bid. Bryan Mbeumo and Patrick Dorgu scored in the second half to seal the victory, though Amad Diallo, Bruno Fernandes, and Mason Mount had goals ruled out.

Harry Maguire and Amad also struck the woodwork, while City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma made several key saves as Pep Guardiola’s side struggled.

City managed just one shot on target, allowing United to end a four-game winless run in style. After the match, Evra, who moved from Lyon to City in the summer, called out Cherki for showing a lack of respect to the Red Devils.

In reply to one of the Instagram posts, the United legend wrote: "Amazing player but when you don't respect United, that's what you get. FOREVRA RED."
