Bournemouth reach agreement in principle for Alex Toth

Bournemouth have agreed a 310.4m deal in principle to sign Ferencvaros midfielder Alex Toth, with the Hungarian club set to receive an additional 32.6m in add-ons.

The 20-year-old defensive midfielder is expected to travel to the south coast in the coming days to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms.

Toth has spent his entire club career in Hungary, including a loan spell at Soroksar during the 2023-24 season.

He made his Ferencvaros debut in December 2024 and has featured 25 times this season, earning nine caps for Hungary.

Toth would become Bournemouth’s third January signing, following goalkeeper Fraser Forster and defender Ade Solanke, as the club continues to strengthen their squad.
