Daughter of Rangers Icon Is Adult Entertainment Star Selling Revealing Content and Rejects Football

The child of a football legend is now an adult performer who has modeled for Playboy.

Claudio Caniggia, the former Argentina striker, remains famous for enduring one of the most infamous fouls in World Cup history during Cameroon's shocking 1-0 victory in 1990. Known as "El Pajaro" (The Bird) for his distinctive blonde hair, he built his career in Serie A with Hellas Verona, Atalanta, and Roma after departing River Plate.

The 50-cap international later played for Benfica, Boca Juniors, and returned to Atalanta before moving to Rangers from Dundee late in his career. Caniggia, who celebrated his 59th birthday last Friday, won over Ibrox supporters after scoring against Celtic in a Scottish League Cup final, contributing to Rangers' domestic treble in 2002/03. Today, however, it is his daughter drawing widespread attention.

During his career, Caniggia married model Mariana Nannis, with whom he had three children, before their divorce. He later wed model Sofia Bonelli, then 26, in 2019. One of his children with Nannis, Charlotte, has pursued a path similar to her mother's, gaining prominence as an online model.

Charlotte's Instagram account, boasting 1.9 million followers, features numerous images of her in lingerie, bathing, and posing before mirrors. One since-removed video, showing her topless in a bath with only stickers for coverage, amassed over 500,000 views before Instagram moderators deleted it.

Her ventures extend further, as she has become a prominent figure on the adult platform Divas Play. There, she offers 18+ material, including topless and suggestive photographs, alongside Argentine Big Brother celebrity Marian Farjat. Models on the site are believed to earn substantial sums for each post.

The Buenos Aires-born star also appears on television, regularly featuring in various reality shows across Spain and Latin America.

She participated in MTV's Acapulco Shore, a 2021 offshoot of Jersey Shore, and has appeared on Argentina's Celebrity Masterchef, as well as programs in Chile and Italy.

Yet, her television work likely hasn't attracted as large an audience as her social media presence. Charlotte commands millions of followers on Instagram and TikTok, where she frequently shares risqué content.

Caniggia's twin brother, Alexander, is also highly visible online and hosts his own TV program titled 'Los Desconocidos de Siempre' ('The Strangers Forever'). The heavily tattooed presenter has the family surname etched across his knuckles and appears to have secured a stable role in broadcasting.

As for the sport that brought her father fame, Charlotte has expressed no enthusiasm for it. When previously asked about football, she dismissed the topic, stating, "Do not ask me about football, I do not know anything about that, I do not like it."

To her credit, the 31-year-old has carved out her own place in the public eye independently of football. While she has followed her mother's modeling career to achieve fame, she also displays a touch of her father's bold and outgoing character.
