Minnesota United confirm ex-Man United coach Ramsay set for West Brom job

Minnesota United have confirmed that ex-Man United coach Eric Ramsay is set to take over from Ryan Mason at West Brom.

Ramsay, 33, left a coaching role at Man United to take the Minnesota United job back in March 2024, his first as a manager.

The Welshman led the MLS side to their best ever league finish coming fourth in the West in 2025 with a historic 16 wins, 58 points.

He was linked with a move to Strasbourg to replace now Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior, but he is now set to take over West Brom following Mason’s dismissal.

Minnesota United have now confirmed that Ramsay has departed, with assistant manager Dennis Lawrence joining him at the Championship club.
