Spurs close in on €15m Brazilian full-back Souza as Thomas Frank seeks January boost

Tottenham are reportedly closing in on a deal for Brazilian wonderkid Souza as under fire Thomas Franks eyes January reinforcements.

Frank, 52, hasn’t had the best start to life at Tottenham, winning 11, drawing eight, and losing 11 of his 30 games since joining in the summer.

Spurs currently sit down in 14th with 27 points from their 21 Premier League games but are ready to splash the cash on reinforcements in January.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Souza, 19, has agreed to join the North London club for a reported 313 million from Santos.

The young right back is now set to travel to the UK on Sunday and put pen to paper on his contract at Tottenham.
