Barcelona inform Marcus Rashford of plans after Man United loan

Barcelona have reportedly informed Marcus Rashford of their desire to keep the player beyond his current loan spell.

The 28-year-old joined Hansi Flick’s side on loan from Man United last summer and has managed to rediscover some form.

Rashford has seven goals and eight assists in his 26 games across all competitions and has even been recalled to the England squad by Thomas Tuchel.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are delighted with Rashford’s impact and have told the player to want to keep him beyond the season.

Barcelona have a 330 million option to buy in the deal, but it’s understood that they would like to lower it and will enter negotiations with Man United in the coming months.
