Chelsea are readying a Premier League record bid for Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.

The Guardian says Chelsea are preparing a history-making offensive and are considering an offer close to €160m to sign Vini Jr.

In London, Chelsea's board see the situation as a strategic opportunity before the winger enters the final year of his contract.
