West Ham icon Tomas Repka went from Premier League fame to prison following two messy divorces
An ex-Premier League "hothead" who earned 20 red cards during his career led an equally chaotic life off the field, eventually serving time in prison after two divorces and a major scandal.
Tomas Repka joined West Ham for a club-record £5.5million in 2001. While the Czech defender was a cult hero for his aggressive style, his off-pitch antics proved far more damaging. After leaving London in 2006, he even admitted to fixing a match in his homeland to settle a personal score against a club president.
However, his personal life was where the real trouble began. After 16 years of marriage to his first wife, Renata, their relationship collapsed in 2012 when he was caught having an affair with Playboy model Vladka Erbova.

The betrayal led to a fiery divorce in May 2012. That same month, Vladka gave birth to their son, confirming Repka's infidelity. The pair married in 2013, but by 2016, they were headed for a second divorce amid claims of mutual unfaithfulness. Repka later remarked that he was "ashamed" she ever used his surname.

The feud with his second ex-wife turned criminal in 2018. Repka was sentenced to jail after he and his new partner advertised fake sexual services online using Vladka's name and photos as an act of revenge over child maintenance disputes.
Repka's legal woes continued in 2019 when he was sentenced to 15 months for fraud after selling a luxury Mercedes rental car that he didn't actually own. Combined with previous driving offenses, he finally served time behind bars before being released after seven months.
