Model's Public Dispute with Messi's Camp After Alleged Ban from MLS Final

A Brazilian model and social media personality has publicly claimed she was barred from attending last month's MLS Cup Final by Lionel Messi's wife.

Suzy Cortez, a long-time and outspoken admirer of the football icon, alleges that Antonela Roccuzzo intervened to prevent her from entering Chase Stadium to watch Inter Miami's 3-1 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps. Messi, 38, played a key role in securing the win for his team.

Cortez told media outlet Extra that the incident left her feeling "humiliated," stating, "No one should be banned from a public sporting event because of personal issues or disputes on social media."

She asserts that a request from Roccuzzo led to the stadium ban. Cortez also claims to have been blocked by the Messi family across all their social media accounts.

There has been no official comment from Messi, his wife, or Inter Miami regarding these allegations.

The model, a former Miss BumBum winner and ex-Playboy feature, did not dismiss the possibility of confronting Roccuzzo or speaking out further, especially with the 2026 World Cup approaching in North America. She expressed a desire for clarity before the tournament.

Cortez has a documented history of intense fandom for Messi, spanning his tenures at Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. Her devotion extends to multiple tattoos dedicated to the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner, including images, his signature, and symbolic references to Argentina's World Cup victories on various parts of her body. She famously shared a video in 2023 of getting a Messi-themed tattoo.

Messi and Roccuzzo have been married since 2017 and share three children.
