Brennan Johnson finalised his £35 million transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Crystal Palace on Friday.

The 24-year-old, who initially moved to Spurs from Nottingham Forest for £47.5 million in 2023, ended his debut season as the club's leading scorer—a campaign capped by scoring the decisive goal in the Europa League final. Despite a strong beginning to this term, his playing time diminished under manager Thomas Frank.

The forward was unveiled as the Eagles' first signing of the January window and their new record acquisition. The Wales international has signed a contract lasting four and a half years at Selhurst Park and will take the number 11 jersey.

Johnson could be in contention for his first appearance when Palace visit Newcastle United on Sunday, where he is sure to receive enthusiastic support from his glamorous partner, Tilde Cilla Syah.

Tilde, a Danish model previously linked romantically to Jude Bellingham, has been in a relationship with Johnson for over two years. There were even reports last November suggesting the footballer may have proposed.

She is a familiar face in the stands, having been spotted wearing a Spurs jersey with 'Johnson' printed on the back during the Europa League final in Bilbao. Tilde is believed to have relocated to London to be near the athlete while also pursuing opportunities in her modelling career.

Last June, following the end of the season, the couple vacationed in Barbados, where Tilde shared striking photos of herself in a vibrant yellow two-piece.

Johnson occasionally features his partner on his own Instagram, including a snapshot from a romantic meal together in Capri, Italy.

The pair also enjoyed a trip to Barcelona, where Tilde turned heads on the beach in a bold, multi-coloured bikini.
