Chelsea winger Mudryk posts appeal to fans as drugs ban mystery continues

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has urged fans not to give up on him as the mystery around his doping suspension continues.

The Ukraine international has been sidelined since the first-half of last season after an apparent failed drugs test.

Mudryk was eventually formally charged in June 2025, but an official suspension is yet to be given. As it stands, the winger remain provisionally banned.

"Happy New year to all my fans," Mudryk wrote on social media. "I just wanted to say thank you for your support.

"I see all your messages and truly appreciate them, so please don't give up on me as I not give up on myself.

"Can't wait to see you soon."
