Borussia Dortmund decide on Jobe Bellingham after tough start

Borussia Dortmund are standing by Jobe Bellingham despite a challenging start to life in Germany.

The younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has struggled to make an impact since his 332 million ($43m) move from Sunderland.

He scored just once in 27 appearances and starting only five league matches and he was also sent off against Freiburg last month.

Nevertheless, reports indicate that Dortmund have full faith in the 19-year-old’s potential and are not considering a sale.

The club believe he can develop into a key player over time. Jobe previously expressed a desire to be his “own man,” though he has followed in his brother’s footsteps at Dortmund.

The team next face Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday, sitting second in the Bundesliga, nine points behind Bayern Munich.
