Real Madrid jump into Stankovic battle as Inter Milan consider options

Real Madrid have joined the interest in Club Brugge midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic.

The son of Inter Milan hero Dejan Stankovic, 20 year-old Aleksandar joined Club Brugge last summer from the Nerazzurri.

Stankovic Jr moved to Brugge for a fee of €9.5m. The deal includes a sell-on clause for Inter, plus two buy-back options: €23m for 2026, rising to €25m in 2027.

Voetbal Nieuws says Real Madrid are now watching Stankovic's progress after an outstanding first six months in Belgium, but they're not alone.

Arsenal and Tottenham are also in contact with Brugge about the midfielder's situation.
