Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi is wanted by several sides which now includes Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Reports have stated that Guehi is now considering running down his deal to make himself a lucrative signing-on fee in the summer as a free agent.

The England international will become a free agent at the end of the season and discuss terms with clubs over the next few weeks as the January window slowly opens.

Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Barcelona have all been credited with interest, but so far it has been Premier League rivals Liverpool who have been reportedly leading the race.

However, AS report that Real Madrid have contacted Guehi’s representatives and have now let them know that they’re interested in signing him.

Liverpool attempted to sign Guehi last summer and even came close to secure a move before the deal collapsed in the final moments.

Now, as the Reds attempt to grab his signature once again, they must convince the defender to not join Los Banos and instead make a move to Merseyside.

When Madrid come calling, they almost always get their man, and it looks like Liverpool boss Arne Slot may have to look elsewhere if he wants to sign a world-class defender.
