David Dunn, who turns 46 today (Saturday, December 28), was once engaged to actress Sammy Winward, best known for playing Katie Sugden in Emmerdale. The ex-couple share a daughter named Mia. However, Dunn’s relationship with his daughter, Mia Dunn—also known as Mia Kate Rose—has deteriorated since she embarked on a controversial career path.

Mia previously revealed that she had been cut off from both Dunn and her soap actress mother for months following arguments over her decision to join an adult subscription platform. The former Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham City midfielder has reportedly created distance between them.

Mia recently took to social media to share provocative photos dressed in office-style attire. In the images, she posed in a cropped white shirt, stockings, and a skirt.

Earlier this year, she spoke candidly about the family tension: “I think she’s got some animosity toward me. I think she might just be jealous about how well and how quickly I’m doing.

“I believe that’s really what my parents’ issue is. They think I’ve succeeded because of their name, but behind the scenes, it takes a lot more work than just being their daughter,” she revealed to The Sun.

Last year, Mia shared how she learned about the benefits of the adult platform from fellow content creators.

She explained: “I feel so empowered on [the website]. I am my own boss, and I’m confident in myself and what I’m doing.”

Now earning staggering amounts on the subscription-based site, Mia boasted that she makes ten times her previous income for roughly “about three days of work.”

Her daily routine involves filming content, uploading it online, and handling administrative tasks.

Despite achieving significant success and working tirelessly, Mia does not shy away from acknowledging that her family is far from pleased with her professional choices.
