Scott McTominay considers Premier League return with Man United door open

Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay is reportedly considering a return to the Premier League and has even left the door open for former club Man United.

The 29-year-old is arguably the best midfielder in the Serie A at the moment, leading Napoli to their 2024-25 Scudetto and carrying his fine form into this season.

According to The Sun, with Napoli currently sitting in third, internal issues have started to emerge and McTominay is now considering his future.

One source claimed: "Scott loves elements of Italian life and had a wonderful first season. But the passion of the fans can be a blessing but also make things difficult.

“He is treated as a god over there but it means he finds it difficult to do simple things when he's not training. The attention can be suffocating."

It’s understood that the Scotland international would consider a return to the Premier League, with Newcastle, Tottenham, and Man United said to be keen.
