Manchester City's prolific striker Erling Haaland has lightened the festive mood with a playful Instagram post following Pep Guardiola's strict warning regarding holiday weight gain.
Guardiola's Festive Ultimatum Earlier this week, the City boss surprised fans by announcing that every squad member would be subjected to a mandatory weigh-in before Saturday's trip to Nottingham Forest. Guardiola made it clear that players who overindulged during the Christmas break would face consequences.
"The moment they return after three days off, I want to see their condition," Pep stated. "They are allowed to eat, but I want control. If a player arrives three kilograms heavier, he stays in Manchester; he will not travel to Nottingham."
Haaland's "Scale-Gate" Response While the threat of being dropped might have loomed over some, Haaland decided to tackle the issue with his trademark humor. On Christmas Day, the Norwegian superstar shared a photo of himself standing on a digital scale in white flip-flops.

Haaland captioned his cheeky Instagram post: "All good!!"
The readout displayed a lean 94.4kg, confirming the striker had stayed in peak condition despite the holiday festivities. Keeping the message brief and blunt, he captioned the image: "All good!!"
Teammates and Fans React The post quickly went viral, racking up thousands of responses. Among them was Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who replied with a string of laughing emojis, clearly amused by the striker's cheeky jab at his manager's strict rules.
Record-Breaking Momentum Guardiola will undoubtedly be relieved to see his talisman ready for action. With 19 goals already banked before Christmas, Haaland is currently on track to shatter his own Premier League single-season record of 36 goals.
His clinical form has kept Manchester City just two points behind league leaders Arsenal, as the defending champions look to intensify their title hunt heading into the second half of the season.
