Liverpool contact Atletico Madrid for Sorloth talks

Liverpool are weighing up a move for Atletico Madrid striker Alexander Sorloth.

The Reds are suddenly short of striker options with Mohamed Salah now with Egypt at AFCON and Alexander Isak facing an extended spell on the sidelines due to a leg fracture.

Radio Marca says Liverpool are eyeing Sorloth as potential cover.

Liverpool have sounded out Atletico about a loan deal for Sorloth, though the Spanish giants are insisting the Norway international will only leave in a permament transfer.

Atletico are demanding €30m to part with Sorloth next month.
