Liverpool legend Origi has AC Milan contract ripped apart as he becomes free agent
Liverpool icon Divock Origi has had his AC Milan contract terminated after what has been a failed move.
Origi’s terms were set to run until June 2026, but the Belgian striker made his last appearance for the club came back in May 2023 and last featured in the squad in May of last year.0
La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sky Sport Italia and a number of other top publications all confirm that the agreement has been reached and the paperwork signed to terminate the contract by mutual consent.0
Origi arrived at the San Siro in 2022 after his Liverpool contract and enjoyed just 36 appearances and two goals in over two years with the Italian giants.0
AC Milan are set to announce the loan signing of West Ham United striker Niclas FFCllkrug as they seek to improve their attack for the second half of the season.0
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Origi had been earning €300,000 per month, or €4M net per season and Milan were keen on offloading the striker who contributed nothing to the side.0
Reports claimed that Origi did not train with Milan Futuro but worked with a personal trainer while travelling between Rome and Florence to maintain fitness as he prepares to make transfer plans over the next few weeks.0
