DONE DEAL? Girona to take on Man City midfielder Echeverri
Manchester City are sending Claudio Echeverri to Girona.
City have recalled the Argentine midfielder from Bayer Leverkusen, cutting short his season-long loan.
Echeverri was being linked with a similar temporary move to Rennes for the second-half of the season.
However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting Echeverri will sign a six-month loan with Girona on January 1.
City Football Group are the parent company of both clubs and City manager Pep Guardiola believes Echeverri will be better suited to Girona and LaLiga.
