Chelsea pull out of Antoine Semenyo race HOURS after making inquiry

Chelsea have reportedly decided against pursuing a deal for in demand Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo just hours after making an enquiry.

Sky Sports initially reported that Chelsea had started talks with Bournemouth over a potential deal for Semenyo, 25, on Tuesday (December 23) morning.

Now, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, the West London club have pull out of the race and will no longer pursue a move.

Semenyo will still have plenty of options going into the January transfer window, however, with Man United, Man City, and Liverpool all interested.

The Bournemouth winger will be available for 360 million plus another 35 million in add ons during the first ten days of the window due to a release clause.
