Man City and Chelsea battle it out to sign Leicester wonderkid Monga

Man City and Chelsea are reportedly both readying a January bid for Leicester City wonderkid Jeremy Monga.

The 16-year-old broke into the Leicester City first team last season and has since made 14 appearances across all competitions in 2025-26.

Monga is regarded as one of the best young attacking talents in England at the moment, and some of the big boys are starting to take notice.

According to TEAMtalk, Man City and Chelsea are ready to go head-to-head and make offers to sign the youngster in January.

It’s understood the two Premier League clubs are hoping to steal a march on others who are expected to join the race in the coming months.
