Everton "open to loan deal" for Man Utd outcast Mainoo ahead of the January window

Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is ready to leave the club and Everton are keen on taking him on.

Mainoo's future at United has been the subject of debate since the summer when the club denied his move to Napoli despite manager Ruben Amorim having no plans to integrate him into the side.0

The 20-year-old has played just 11 Premier League games under Ruben Amorim so far this season, all coming off the bench, in a statistic which reveals why the England star is so desperate to leave.0

Now, journalist Ben Jacobs has reported that the Toffees are ready to bring in Mainoo who is keen to get consistent minutes on the pitch.0

"West Ham and Everton are both open to a loan deal for the 20-year-old under the right circumstances, but sources suggest United would ideally prefer to do a deal with a foreign club if a temporary exit is sanctioned."0

Il Mattino report that Everton, Fulham and Galatasaray are all set to rival Napoli for Mainoo’s signature in the coming month as the transfer race heats up.0

Despite the noise around Mainoo, Amorim has declined to say whether a loan moan would be prohibited: "I had some conversations with him, especially last year, and with other players, but about that subject, no, I didn't speak with him," he said.0

"I will be really pleased if Kobbie comes to talk to me about that. I just want my players happy. I understand every individual has their goals and the frustration doesn't help anybody. I'm not going to say what I would say, but I would talk to him.0

"I am completely open, that is clear. I have my ideas and that is also clear. I will not change if I don't believe it but I'm open to speak with any player. I love that."
