Man United on alert as Ruben Neves pushes for Premier League return

Ruben Neves is reportedly pushing for a return to the Premier League in January, with Man United keen on pursuing a deal.

Neves, 28, has been with Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal since leaving Wolves back in the summer of 2023, making 112 appearances.

According to The Times, the Portugal international is now eyeing a return to the Premier League with a number of clubs keeping tabs on the situation.

The report adds that Neves’ availability has piqued the interest of Man United who have had issues in the midfield throughout the season.

It’s understood the Neves could be available for as little as 318 million, well below half of the 347 million Al Hilal paid for him.
