Leeds eye €20m move for in-form Sevilla winger Ruben Vargas

Leeds are reportedly eyeing a €20m move for in-form Sevilla winger Ruben Vargas as they seek to bolster their squad following a mixed start to the season.

The West Yorkshire club currently sit in 17th, but some strong performances against Man City, Chelsea, and Liverpool have certainly increased morale.

According to Orgullo Biri, Leeds aren’t giving up on Premier League survival just yet, and have made Vargas, 27, a priority target for the January transfer window.

Vargas joined Sevilla in January 2025 and quickly became a key player. This season, he’s scored three goals and provided four assists in his 13 games across all competitions.

It’s understood that Leeds are confident a bid of €20m should be enough to persuade Leeds to part ways with the winger.
