Stefan de Vrij set to leave Inter as Premier League interest emerges

Inter Milan defender Stefan de Vrij is reportedly set to leave the club with Nottingham Forest keen in bringing him to the Premier League.

The 33-year-old has been at Inter Milan for the past seven seasons but has fallen down the pecking order under Christian Chivu in 2025-26.

According to a report from Tuttosport, De Vrij is unhappy with his reduced role at the club and is pushing for a move in January.

Premier League side Nottingham Forest are said to be keen on bringing the Dutchman to England, but face competition from European sides.

Bologna and Benfica are interested with De Vrij keen on earning more regular minutes ahead of next year’s World Cup.
