Following her split from the 2014 World Cup winner, the stunning former wife of footballer Mats Hummels decided to pose completely nude for Playboy.

Cathy Hummels had been by the defender's side throughout his playing career, as he helped lead Borussia Dortmund to back-to-back Bundesliga titles in 2011 and 2012 and became a mainstay in Germany's national defense.

Then, at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Hummels—who turns 37 today (Tuesday, December 16)—started in the lineup that defeated Argentina to claim the trophy, with Cathy cheering on her husband from the stands.

However, by 2022, the couple announced they were going their separate ways. "I'm divorced, I'm more or less a single parent. This wasn't exactly my dream at age 25," she admitted on the show Krause Kommt in 2022.

After parting ways with her World Cup-winning husband, Cathy chose to pose for Playboy as a way of celebrating her body. "I do what I want," she told the magazine.

"I've never really embraced my body. I'm 35 years old, and only now can I say: I like myself. I wish I had felt this way about my body earlier. I had breast augmentation because I didn't feel womanly enough."

She also shared in an interview with radio station Energy Munich: "I love to make out when I'm drunk. The sex itself isn't important to me; I don't really care. I also kiss women in those moments. Sometimes, I just feel like kissing."

The dazzling blonde has successfully built a career as a model and TV presenter, accumulating an impressive following of 690,000 fans on Instagram.

Meanwhile, her ex-husband decided to retire from professional football this past summer after a brief stint with Italian giants Roma. "I'm struggling with my emotions right now," Hummels said.

"Now comes the moment that every footballer must eventually face. After 18 years and all that football has given me, I will be ending my career this summer."
