Inter Miami sign ex-Tottenham star Reguilon: My objective is to keep winning!

Inter Miami have announced the signing of former Tottenham defender Sergio ReguilF3n.

The 28-year-old Spanish international was a free agent since being cut by Spurs this past summer, and has now found himself in the US with the MLS Cup champions.0

Speaking to the club website, Reguilon has revealed why he decided to join the side who have lost Jordi Alba who retired from football earlier this year.0

“It’s a very ambitious project, a winning Club that is doing things the right way, and that’s what attracted me: coming here to keep winning and competing,” said ReguilF3n. 0

“My objective is to keep winning, go after the trophies we’re missing, and win everything here.”0

The experienced defender will occupy an international roster slot and adds proven experience from both LaLiga and the Premier League that manager Javier Mascherano.0

Inter Miami holds an option to extend the Spaniard’s contract through 2028 as the club seeks further success despite the departures of Alba and Sergio Busquets who won't be easy to replace. Reguilon perhaps is the closest player profile to Alba however in what is a boost for Mascherano ahead of the new season.
