Mohamed Salah returns! Forward WILL be part of Liverpool squad to face Brighton

Liverpool forward has been recalled and will be part of the squad for their Premier League game against Brighton on Saturday (December 13) despite his recent outburst.

The 33-year-old was remarkably candid about his situation at the club, claiming he had been ‘thrown under the bus’ in an interview after their 3-3 draw with Leeds.

Salah was subsequently left at home as Liverpool travelled to Italy to face Inter Milan in the Champions League in midweek, winning 1-0.

Now, according to The Athletic’s James Pearce, Arne Slot has decided to give Salah another chance and will include him for their game against Brighton.

Per the report, the decision comes after ‘positive talks’ were held between Slot and the Egyptian. The visit from Brighton will be Salah’s final game before heading to AFCON.
