Agents offer Boga to big Serie A trio as he seeks Nice escape after ultras controversy

Agents for Nice winger Jeremie Boga are offering him to Serie A clubs.

The former Atalanta and Sassuolo star wants to leave Nice in January after being targeted by fans.

TMW says Boga's agents have made contact with Roma, Fiorentina and Napoli. For now it has been an initial approach, though talks could step up in the coming weeks.

The decision from Boga's camp has been made after ultras confronted players and officials on Sunday.

An OGCN statement read last week: "On Sunday, upon their return from0Lorient, the Aiglos were welcomed in front of the training and development centre by a large group of people.

"The club understands the frustration generated by the succession of disappointing performances that are far from its values. However, the excesses witnessed during this gathering are unacceptable. Several club members were targeted. The OGC Nice xpresses its full support to them and condemns these acts in the strongest terms."0

The statement continued: "Contrary to what has been claimed, several of our players and officials were directly subjected to physical (multiple spitting and hitting) and verbal abuse. Florian Maurice, Terem Moffi, Jeremie Boga and Jonathan Clauss were specifically targeted in unacceptable conditions.

"Two of them are still suffering from physical and psychological consequences that prevent them from peacefully resuming the competition."
