Barcelona coach Flick delighted with new Garcia deal
Barcelona coach Hansi Flick is delighted with news of Eric Garcia's new contract.
The defender has penned a new deal to 2031 in the last 24 hours.
Flick said, "From the start of the season, we could already see his potential.
"He was initially hampered by injuries, but in the end, he’s a very professional player, it’s fantastic to see.
"When you want to be a leader, it’s also important to be disciplined and give everything for the team, regardless of whether you play full-back or defensive midfielder…
"I’m very happy for him, he deserves to extend his contract and it’s excellent news for everyone.”
