'Again we lost two points' - Amorim left frustrated after Man United draw with West Ham

Man United manager Ruben Amorim was left frustrated after his side could only draw with West Ham on Thursday (December 4).

Amorim’s side dominated much of the game at Old Trafford and eventually broke the deadlock thanks to Diogo Dalot’s strike.

West Ham didn’t let their heads drop, however, and their hard work was rewarded in the 83rd minute when midfielder Soungoutou Magassa scored the equaliser and earned a crucial point.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Amorim lamented his side’s inability to secure the win.

"(The performance) was not constant,” he said.0

“We had good moments and we lost control a little bit in the first half and a little bit in the second half after the goal. We should have closed the game when we scored the first one.

"The game was in control. We knew it. Let's defend far from the box. We knew set pieces would be a problem with the difference in height in the team but we could do it. We could maintain the ball after the first goal and again we lost two points."
