Tottenham consider 340 million move for Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke

Tottenham are reportedly readying a 340 million bid for Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke.

According to TeamTalk, Spurs are eyeing a move for the 25-year-old in the coming January transfer window and are willing to pay 340 million to secure his services.

Thomas Frank’s side are said to be keen on adding a top-quality defender to their line-up and have made Van Hecke their priority target.

Brighton are reluctant to let the Dutchman leave mid-season however and will demand a much higher fee to make it happen.

Van Hecke has been key to their season so far, starting all 14 of their Premier League games, popping up with three goals.
