Inter Miami make final Neymar, Lionel Messi reunion decision

Inter Miami's stance on potentially signing Lionel Messi's ex-Barcelona and PSG teammate Neymar in January has been revealed.

The 33-year-old returned to boyhood club Santos in order to rediscover some form and fitness following a disastrous spell in Saudi Arabia with Al Hilal.

Neymar’s move hasn’t quite gone to plan, however, and his contract with Santos is set to expire at the end of 2025, with an extension looking unlikely.

Messi’s Inter Miami have been heavily liked with a move after Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba both announced they will retire at the end of the 2025 season.

According to Sport, the club’s leadership team aren’t currently prioritising a move for the Brazilian and are instead looking to sign defensive reinforcements.
