Saha says Neymar to Man Utd would have a been "a perfect move" in the summer window

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has stated that Neymar could have altered his career at the club.

Neymar, 33 is currently playing through pain and ignoring the advice of doctors at Santos as he attempts to save his boyhood club from relegation.0

After leaving Saudi Arabia earlier this year, Neymar’s road to recovery has been bumpy and the former Barcelona winger has constantly struggled to string games to together for Santos, who are used to him being in the medical room.0

Santos are in the midst of as relegation scrap, but Neymar’s life could have been much different if links between him and top clubs such as United were true. 0

Speaking to Pundit Arena, Saha believes that Neymar could have thrived at the club if he were signed in the summer.0

“If you asked me six months ago, I’d have loved Neymar at Manchester United. But right now, he seems fragile, or injured. Maybe he’s lost his spark.0

“It’s sad, because I love Neymar. I thought a couple of years ago it’d have been a perfect move because he can still be an amazing player. He could really boost United with his inventiveness and talent.0

“I think perhaps the way he has had his career guided needed to be challenged in the past. I don’t know how he can set about putting things right and rebuilding anymore. 0

“United need players who will sacrifice themselves for the team, who are in love with the club. I’m not sure Neymar is the man to offer that to United at this point in his career.”0

United sit seventh in the Premier League and although attacking reinforcements are needed, Neymar is possibly the last target on manager Ruben Amorim’s mind.0
