Real Madrid players have expressed concern with directors regarding coach Xabi Alonso.

While they regard Xabi as a talented coach, senior players are questioning his experience - particularly in terms of handling the pressure of being in charge of Real Madrid.

That's according to OkDiario's chief pundit, Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito last night.

"What they tell me is that as soon as they returned from the Club World Cup, some players spoke with management to say that they saw the coach as very green for Real Madrid," said Inda.

"That feeling, to this day, remains.

"He can't be a very bad coach, Xabi Alonso, because he has won one Bundesliga. He has the DNA of Real Madrid, he embodies it better than anyone. But what was said when returning from Club World Cup is that he's just green."
