Liverpool manager Arne Slot has explained why he decided to drop star man Mohamed Salah in their 2-0 Premier League win over West Ham on Sunday (November 30).

Slot’s side earned a much-needed 2-0 win over West Ham at the London Stadium, somewhat easing the pressure on the Dutchman.

The 47-year-old made some bold choices ahead of the game, notably deciding to drop Salah, who has received plenty of criticism for his recent performances.

Speaking to reporters after the game, he explained his decision, saying: “I got this question already a lot.0

“Four games in 10 days with only 14 to 15 outfield players available for us, then you have to decide once in a while to make a certain lineup and you try to pick the best lineup for every single game.
