Brazil ready Carlo Ancelotti contract talks BEFORE the World Cup

Brazil's Football Confederation president Samir Xaud wants to open contract extension talks with manager Carlo Ancelotti.

The legendary Italian only took over in the summer and could be set to sign a new contract before the World Cup kicks off.

Ancelotti’s current deal with the Brazil national team is set to expire after next year’s tournament, but he recently expressed a desire to extend his contract to 2030.

"I see this conversation in a positive light," Xaud said on Wednesday when asked about the possibility of the former Real Madrid boss staying beyond 2026.

"He already said in an interview that it depends on both sides. I always believe in building a working relationship. Everything is there for it to succeed."

According to ESPN, talks will start in the new year and Brazil want him to stay regardless of their results at the World Cup.
