Wolves boss Edwards addresses Gomes Man Utd rumours
New Wolves boss Rob Edwards insists he expects to be working with Joao Gomes for the remainder of the season.
The Brazil midfielder is being linked with a move to Manchester United ahead of the January market.
Asked about the rumours before Saturday's defeat to Crystal Palace, Edwards says no-one from management had said anything about selling Gomes.
He said: "We've spoken about stuff but my focus has been on getting the team organised.
"We have got some good players and there will always be interest, but I'm not aware of anything. Joao has been excellent this week."
