Charles Leclerc has announced he is engaged to model Alexandra Saint Mleux

The smitten couple announced the move on social media at the start of November.

A joint post on Instagram which included their adorable sausage dog, Leo, was captioned: "Mr². & Mrs. Leclerc."

Congratulations poured in for the pair, with the likes of Ferrari team-mate Lewis Hamilton, ex-team-mate Carlos Sainz and McLaren rival Oscar Piastri among those to send their well wishes.

Alexandra, who has French and Mexican roots, studied Art History at the prestigious Ecole du Louvre, specialising in 20th century art with a particular focus on Pablo Picasso, Georgia O'Keeffe, Andy Warhol, and Henri Matisse.

When she is not working as a model, as seen by her 3.1 million Instagram followers, she is an Art Coordinator & Public Relations lead at Kamil Art Gallery in Monaco.

She grew up on the border of Monaco and actually attended the same school as Leclerc, the Lycée Albert 1er in the Principality of Monaco – though considering their age gap it is unlikely they knew of one another before meeting as adults.

But Alexandra is now a paddock regular alongside the likes of Rebecca Donaldson, Margarida Corceiro and Kelly Piquet.

Leclerc, 28, first sparked dating rumours with Alexandra, 24, back in March 2023.

Fans began speculating over the Monegasque's relationship status when they were reportedly spotted together at Paris Fashion Week.

Alexandra's social media was private at the time, while Leclerc did not address the situation for some months.

In May, Leclerc finally confirmed he was seeing someone, but refrained from naming his partner.

However, just two months later the pair were spotted at Wimbledon together.

They attended the SW19 tournament on Day 8 on a double date alongside fellow F1 star Pierre Gasly and his girlfriend Francisca Gomes.

A pair of outings at basketball games followed, with Leclerc and Alexandra seen taking in an LA Lakers vs Portland Trail Blazers game in Los Angeles before attending a EuroLeague game between AS Monaco and Olympiacos Piraeus.

With Leclerc and Alexandra going steady, Leclerc then popped the question of marriage.

With the pair announcing they were getting hitched, Leclerc appeared to go all out on a wedding ring.

Laura Taylor, a jeweller specialising in engagement rings at Lorel Diamonds, estimated the ring was worth upwards of £400,000 ($525,000) when speaking to the Daily Mail.
