Chelsea Ready Move For Veteran Former Defender Antonio Rudiger

Chelsea are reportedly looking to bring Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger back to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Rudiger, 32, is set to leave Real Madrid once his current contract expires at the end of the 2025-26 season, with no talks over a new deal.

New manager Xabi Alonso is understood to be keen on overhauling Real Madrid’s defence over the next couple of transfer windows.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Chelsea are working to bring him back to the club in a similar deal to the one that brought Thiago Silva to West London.

Chelsea used Silva as an experienced head in a young side during the Brazilian’s four years, where he went on to become a legend.
