Antony has revealed he was in contact with Bayer Munich before moving to Real Betis.

Antony spent the second half of last season on loan at Betis, scoring nine goals in 26 appearances in all competitions. In the summer he secured a move to the Spanish side as he escaped United “bomb squad” alongside the likes of Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho.0

The winger said he felt “disrespected” by United towards the end of his spell at Old Trafford, was seen in tears as he opened up on his time in England.0

Now, as he continues to impress in La Liga, he has revealed to Globo that he almost made his way to the Bundesliga to join champions Bayern Munich.0
