Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund Battling to Sign Anderlecht Teenager

Bundesliga duo Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly leading the race to sign Anderlecht wonderkid Nathan De Cat.

The 17-year-old is the latest Anderlecht academy graduate to have piqued the interest of Europe’s elite sides.

De Cat as established himself as a first-team regular for the Belgian side this season, popping up with a goal and an assist in his 14 league appearances.

According to Sky Sports, both Bayern and Dortmund are looking to act quickly and sign the defensive midfielder before others come sniffing.

It’s understood that Max Eberl and Christoph Freund are leading the charge for Bayern as they see De Cat as a long-term successor to Leon Goretzka.

Dortmund, on the other hand, are hoping their record of producing young talent will help sway the starlet.
