'Concerned' Liverpool aware Real Madrid, Man City tracking Szoboszlai

Real Madrid and Manchester City are closely monitoring Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

And their interest has the Reds increasingly concerned about his contract situation, says AS.

The 25-year-old currently earns €130,000-a-wee at Anfield, a modest figure compared to players of similar status at other major European clubs:

Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid) is on €400,000-a-week, Bernardo Silva (Man City) €300,000-a-week, Bruno Fernandes (Man United): €300,000-a-week, Jamal Musiala (Bayern) around €360,000-a-week.

Liverpool are now hopeful of renewing his contract long-term - until 2030 - and also rewarding Szoboszlai's excellent form over the past 12 months with a pay raise.
