Christian Pulisic Contract Talks on Hold as AC Milan Weigh Transfer Options

Christian Pulisic’s contract extension at AC Milan is reportedly in a “stand-by phase,” with no meetings scheduled for the USMNT star amid renewed transfer speculation.

The 27-year-old has become a key player for AC Milan since joining from Chelsea back in 2023, scoring six goals and providing two assists in his eight games so far this season.

As a result, talks over a new deal and an increased salary were mooted, but the two parties have failed to make any progress.

According to Matteo Moretto, talks are now in a “stand-by phase,” with Pulish weighing up his option.

Speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, he said: “Pulisic’s contract expires in 2027, with an option in Milan’s favour until 2028.0

“The situation hasn’t really evolved yet: it’s a stand-by phase. Milan don’t have a renewal meeting scheduled, but it will certainly be an issue they’ll want to discuss.0

“For now, however, it remains on hold, and there’s no contact between the parties. We’ll update you if and when discussions resume.”
