Agent of ex-Barcelona striker Roque: We're waiting on Premier League offer

Former Barcelona striker Vitor Roque is preparing for a return to Europe.

Back in Brazil with Palmeiras, Roque has rebuilt his career in recent months and his agent admits he is fielding offers from across Europe ahead of the January market.

Roque's agent, Andr9 Cury, confirmed that the player's form has once again sparked interest from major European clubs.

"We've been receiving a wave of calls from Premier League and Serie A teams these days," he told Globo Esporte.0

"They're asking about his price and terms, but we're in the middle of the season."

Cury also revealed some financial details: "We had already received an offer from the Arab world for €35m, which we weren't interested in. Now we're waiting for a proposal of around €50m from England."

Despite this, there's no rush. The agent emphasised that the player "is very in Brazil" and that his next decision will be carefully considered.

In February, Palmeiras paid €25.5m plus €5m in bonuses for 80% of his contract, making him the most expensive purchase in the club's history.

"The goal," Cury concluded, "is to win the Brasileir3o and the Copa Libertadores. Then, if an offer that satisfies everyone arrives, we'll evaluate it. But for now, Vitor Roque is happy and focused on Palmeiras."
