The side have held talks with a number of managers, but Gary O'Neil and Erik ten Hag are said to be the favourites to take the job. Now, per journalist David Ornstein, advanced talks have begun in what could be a swift appointment.0

O'Neil was sacked by Wolves in December 2024 following a disappointing start to the 2024-25 campaign and his return would come as a shock to supporters who may want to see a more experienced coach like Ten Hag take the reigns.0
